Zander Carrie is an experienced trial attorney and associate at Polson & Polson Law Firm in Birmingham, AL. Before joining the firm, Zander worked as a Deputy District Attorney in Alabama’s 10th Judicial Circuit. He handled many serious felony charges including capital murder, child sex crimes, drug trafficking cases, and DUI fatalities. Zander gained valuable insights and knowledge from his time at the DA’s office which helps him advise and represent clients who fall under the threat of prosecution.
While in graduate school, Zander decided his oral and written advocacy skills would be put to better use as a criminal defense lawyer. He graduated from the University of South Carolina’s School of Law in 2019 and immediately moved back to Birmingham to practice law as a trial attorney in his beloved hometown.
Zander is a creative, zealous trial attorney who continues to refine his practice through further education. In March of 2024, Zander attended the nationally acclaimed “Trial Lawyers College” in Tulsa, Oklahoma, working with incredible lawyers and professional psychodramatists from across the country to develop new trial methods and techniques.
Mr. Carrie is proud to call the Korean community in Montgomery part of his family. In 2010, Mr. Carrie’s wife immigrated to Montgomery, Alabama from Suncheon, South Korea. When they met, her family and culture became a cornerstone of his life. Mr. Carrie frequently interacts with the large Korean community in Montgomery, Auburn, and Opelika.
He understands how instrumental this community is to the State of Alabama’s rich cultural dynamic and growing economic presence.
At the Polson & Polson Law Firm, we understand the Korean community has established firm roots in central Alabama through business development, higher learning, and faith centers. This large, growing community interacts with the Alabama legal system and courts regularly.
Because of his proximity and personal connection to the Korean community, Mr. Carrie appreciates both the uncertainty and fear an immigrant may feel when interacting with a foreign legal system. Whether you are charged with a criminal offense or involved in a serious accident, we are here to help you and stand by you in court.
Whether you are here permanently or simply working on a limited contract, our criminal defense law firm is equipped to handle your case. We have translators available if needed. Polson & Polson is proud to represent any member of the Korean community in Alabama. Contact our office today at (205) 871-8838 for your free case evaluation.
